Information stored on your device
The app saves focus session times, durations, completion status, selected tags, collected trees and preferences locally on your device. If you enter a display name for an achievement card, that name is also stored locally. No account is required.
Collection and advertising
This version does not send your focus history or display name to us. It has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. The app does not request camera, microphone, location or contacts access. Music, nature sounds and growth illustrations are bundled with the app.
Achievement sharing
When you choose Share, the app generates an image containing your display name, achievement and focus statistics. Android's share sheet lets you choose the receiving app. The image and accompanying app link are shared only through that action. The receiving service processes the information under its own privacy policy.
Backups and deletion
Android may back up eligible app data according to your device and account settings. This is handled by Android, rather than an app-operated cloud account. Use Reset All Garden Data in Settings to remove locally stored focus history, trees and related preferences. Clear the app's storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app to remove other locally stored app information, including your display name. Copies you have shared elsewhere are controlled by the receiving service.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive the information you include and use it to respond to your request. The app does not automatically attach your focus history to support messages.

FocusBonsai is a productivity and relaxation tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
